National Research Ethics Service (NRES)
NRES was launched on 1st April 2007 and incorporates the Central Office for Research Ethics Committees (COREC) and NHS Research Ethics Committees (RECs) and contains information on how to and where to apply for ethical approval for your study.

Medical Research Council Ethics and Best Practice
The Medical Research Council issues guidance and advice on the conduct of research in key areas. All MRC staff, and researchers funded by MRC, are expected to comply with these guidelines.
